The event was organized by the Dutch-Bulgarian Business Association, in collaboration with the Flemish-Balkan Business Club. We were happy to host more than 100 members and guests!
This was an evening of company presentations, business talks, and great entrepreneurial mood!
In his welcome speech Mr. Edward Simmelink, chairman of the Board of DBBA announced the associate membership of DBBA in the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). Mr. Simeonov, chairman of BCCI took the floor to express his endorsement on the activity of the Dutch Bulgarian Business Association, and to emphasize the importance and the endless potential in business partnering between the Netherlands and Bulgaria.
During the event DBBA signed an agreement for strategic partnership with Sofia Tech Park, the first science and technologic park in Bulgaria, a prestigious location for research and innovation. The goal of the agreement is to strengthen the scientific and business exchange between Bulgaria and the Netherlands in high-tech innovations. Sofia Tech Park was represented by Mr. Vassil Karaivanov, chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Todor Mladenov, CEO.
On this remarkable evening DBBA signed also Cooperation Memorandums with the American Bulgarian Business Association (ABBA), represented by Mrs. Rumyana Yordanova, CEO, and Women in Banking and Finance (WIBF), represented by founder Branimira Milusheva. The goal is to enhance business connections, to work on joint projects, and to offer more and diverse opportunities to DBBA members.
During the evening some of the DBBA members introduced to the audience their companies and scope of activity – HRS, Scorpio Security, Acta Pharma, Skillo, and MyCluster Desktop.
